Italy Video Production

There’s nothing that quite compares to Italy video production. The country has been the setting for countless movies such as Roberto Benigni’s Life is Beautiful, Angels & Demons starring Tom Hanks, The Italian Job and its remake, among many others. The signature cobblestone streets and Renaissance architecture are musts for anyone shooting video in Italy. These can be enjoyed in many of the major cities and quaint countryside towns.

Known for its commitment to art, culture, food and architecture throughout history, Italy video production can capture those fundamental ideas by utilizing a mix of well-known and under-the-radar locations. You may also find a significantly different ambiance between northern towns and those on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. At the end of the day, Italy’s vibrant location options are so plentiful that you’ll need to make tough decisions where to set up.

Our video came out better than we expected and the platform was super easy to use. Very impressed with 90 seconds!Nik Pearson

Top Italy Filming Destination

Considered the art capitol of the world by many, Rome is home to several iconic sites. The fabled Colosseum is the largest amphitheater ever created. It held upwards of 80,000 people. Even though the hit film Gladiator was not filmed there, its legendary gladiatorial battles were held on those sands. Other key locations for shooting may include the Sistine Chapel, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain among others.

Located in the Tuscany region of Italy, Florence is home to numerous Renaissance masterpieces. Perhaps the most iconic is the domed tower of its Duomo cathedral. Another key location for Italy video production is Florence’s Palazzo Vecchio. The fortified palace overlooks a replica of Michelangelo’s statue of David at the Piazza della Signoria.

One of the world-renown and classic images is gliding across the waterways of Venice in a gondola. The city was constructed on more than 100 small islands on the Adriatic Sea. The main square can be an amazing location for video shoots by using the Campanile bell tower to overlook the city’s iconic red rooftops.

Milan sometimes, although unjustly, takes a backseat to some of the more well-known locations such as Rome. But don’t underestimate how thoroughly entrenched the city is in cultural settings. To say the majestic Gothic Duomo di Milano is breathtaking and outdoor locations such as Parco Forlanini and Parco Sempione are picturesque would be an understatement.

This quaint Tuscany town attracts thousands of visitors for its panoramic countryside views and signature Molino and Gorello waterfalls. Lightly scattered through the green fields and country roads are remnants of the region’s pre-Roman conquest. You’ll find traces of Medieval walls. However, the main attraction are the natural hot springs, which can make a wonderful water shoot even if there’s snow on the ground.
